Authorities Searching For Man Who Allegedly Abducted, Assaulted Ex-Girlfriend In Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Santa Clarita are looking for a man who allegedly abducted and assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
Sheriff's deputies said the suspect, whose name was being withheld, kidnapped the woman Tuesday night while she was walking through a parking lot at McBean Parkway and The Old Road, Deputy Josh Dubin said.
"While they were driving, she attempted to call for help using her cellphone, but the suspect allegedly hit her and took the phone away," Dubin said. "The suspect fled the scene once the vehicle ran out of gas."
The woman contacted a family member, who contacted deputies.
The victim was discovered in the car in the Sunland area late Tuesday night.
