Authorities On The Hunt For 'Gone Plaid Bandit' Bank Robber

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —Los Angeles police are on the hunt for a man accused of robbing several banks in Orange and Los Angeles counties since 2010.

Last month, the suspect, dubbed the "Gone Plaid Bandit," committed four bank heists in Yorba Linda, Laguna Niguel and in the Los Angeles area.

Around 10:20 a.m. April 26, the alleged robber entered a bank located in the 4000 block of Lincoln Boulevard in Los Angeles. The next morning, he went inside another bank in the 100 block of North Larchmont Drive.

The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is described as Caucasian, 25 to 35 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and between 170 to 190 pounds.
