Authorities Nab 2 Suspected Shoplifters At Saks In Beverly Hills
BEVELRY HILLS (CBS) — Store security and Beverly Hills police were able to nab two suspected shoplifters at the landmark Saks Fifth Avenue department store in Beverly Hills, a police lieutenant said.
The attempted shoplifting took place about 12:55p.m. Saturday in the 9600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills police Lt. Mike Hill said.
The two suspects were being pursued by private security guards when they were met by Beverly Hills cops coming in the door.
Hill said the two were apprehended after a brief footrace down Wilshire.
