'Possibly Suicidal' Pursuit Suspect Arrested After Crashing Into Several Cars
CULVER CITY (CBS) — A pursuit suspect was arrested after crashing into several cars Monday afternoon.
Fountain Valley police began chasing the woman at Western Avenue, but California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit at the 605 Freeway. It ended after the woman crashed into at least two vehicles upon exiting the 405 Freeway in Culver City.
It took several CHP officers to arrest the woman, who behaved erratically and pretended to have a weapon, after she exited her pickup truck.
"They believe the driver of the vehicle is possibly suicidal," Officer Mike Harris of the California Highway Patrol told KCAL9.
