Attorney: Judge Declares Impasse In McCourts Mediation
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- An attorney for Frank McCourt says a Los Angeles judge has declared an impasse in the Dodgers ownership mediation with Jamie McCourt.
Attorney Marc Seltzer said in a statement Tuesday that Frank McCourt accepted a proposal by a Superior Court judge but the judge declared the parties to be at impasse.
Seltzer says that must mean that Jamie McCourt rejected the settlement proposal.
A call for comment from Jamie McCourt's attorneys was not immediately returned.
The McCourts' divorce has recently been finalized.
