At Least 1 Hurt In Pomona Shooting
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — At least one man was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in Pomona.
Police responded to a report of "shots fired" around 2:40 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, which is located at South White and West Lexington avenues.
The victim was taken to County-USC Medical Center, where he is in serious condition.
The incident appeared to be gang-related, authorities said.
Garey High School was temporarily locked down during the investigation.
