Arcadia Police Searching For Man Who Assaulted Girl, 15

ARCADIA (CBS) — Police were looking for a man Saturday wanted for the sexual assault and attempted kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl.

Arcadia police say the suspect convinced the teenager to get into his car on Santa Anita Avenue and Genoa Street on May 11. The suspect then drove the girl around and later touched her in a sexual manner.

The victim was able to escape. Police released a sketch of the suspect Friday.

The suspect is described as a Latino man with a Spanish accent in his 30s with a goatee, and short black hair. Authorities say the man was driving a silver, four-door Audi.

Anyone with information is urged to call Arcadia police detectives at (626) 574-5160.
