LONDON (AP) -- People familiar with the situation say David Beckham's son is having a tryout with London soccer club Chelsea.
Brooklyn Beckham was spotted with his father at a Chelsea academy game Tuesday.
The people confirmed details of the 13-year-old Brooklyn's tryout on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the teenager's activities.
The Daily Mail newspaper's website first reported the news Wednesday. Top pro teams routinely sign talented young players to their youth academies.
A former England captain, David Beckham has moved back to London with his family after opting to leave Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy last month.
Brooklyn still appears on the Galaxy website as being on the under-14 squad.
David Beckham is currently mulling offers from clubs around the world.
