AP Source: Bynum To Sign With Cavaliers
CLEVELAND (AP) -- A person familiar with the negotiations says the Cleveland Cavaliers have reached agreement on a two-year contract with center Andrew Bynum.
Bynum accepted the deal on Wednesday night, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced the agreement.
The 7-foot Bynum did not play in any games last season with Philadelphia because of knee injuries. But the Cavs were willing to take a risk on him being healthy to help a team that won just 24 games last season.
He had met with Dallas earlier Wednesday before accepting Cleveland's offer.
