Another Charger Arrested For DUI

SAN DIEGO - Chargers DE Antwan Applewhite has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, according to 10 News.

Applewhite He was handcuffed at 2:23 a.m. today and booked at 4:09 a.m., and his female companion was given a courtesy ride by police officers to another location.

His bail was set at $2,500, and his court date is June 17.

Last season was his best for San Diego. He started 13 of the 16 games he played, and he tallied three sacks and 46 tackles.

"It's disappointing to hear about the issue involving Antwan Applewhite," the Chargers said in a statement. " We'll continue to monitor the situation and let the legal process run its course."
