Angels, Blanton Agree To Terms On 2-Year, $15M Deal
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) The Los Angeles Angels have agreed to terms with Joe Blanton to a 2-year, $15 million deal, according to CBS Sports.
Blanton, who ended with the Dodgers in 2012, had a 4.71 ERA and had 7.8 strikeouts per 9-innings.
Blanton, 33, had a record of 10-13 for the Phillies and the Dodgers last season.
The projected lineup for the Angels will now be Jered Weaver, CJ Wilson, Blanton and Garret Richards.
