Anaheim Teen Killed In Crash On 91 Freeway
CORONA (CBS) — An 18-year-old man from Anaheim was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona, the California Highway Patrol confirmed.
The accident occurred about 2:40 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound 91 Freeway approaching Buchanan Street, CHP Officer Sylvia Vargas said.
According to Vargas, the victim was driving a Dodge Dakota when he lost control and crashed his car into a guardrail.
"The vehicle overturned and impacted with a concrete support pillar for the Buchanan Street overcrossing," Vargas said. "The driver sustained fatal injuries as a result."
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
