Anaheim Police Fatally Shoot Wanted Parolee
ANAHEIM (CBS) - Police fatally shot a wanted parolee who was considered armed and dangerous.
Officers were looking for the parolee Tuesday when they spotted him and opened fire. The shooting took place in the 100 block of West Guinida Lane at about 1:40 p.m., according to Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn.
The 23-year-old was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Dunn said.
Police would not release the man's identity.
The shooting is being investigated by the Orange County District Attorney's Office and Anaheim Police Department.
