Anaheim Man, 21, Calls Police To Say He Fatally Stabbed His Mother, 41
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Police in Anaheim say they got a call Sunday night from a 21-year-old man who admitted to killing his mother.
The man called police around 7 p.m. and he reportedly told officers he'd just stabbed his 41-year-old mother.
The woman lived in the 1600 block of S. Ninth Street, according to Sgt. Bob Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department.
When police arrived on scene, they reportedly found the victim with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital but declared dead around 7:30 p.m.
The sergeant said the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
An investigation is on going.
