Amtrak Train Kills Pedestrian In Northridge
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say an Amtrak train struck and killed a pedestrian in the San Fernando Valley.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says the incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday in the Northridge area. It's unclear why the pedestrian was on the tracks and it wasn't immediately known if anyone on board the train was injured.
No other details were immediately available.
