Amgen To Honor Cancer Survivors During Tour Of California
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The 2011 Amgen Tour of California is rolling into Thousand Oaks this weekend, and Amgen is honoring several cancer survivors as part of the celebration.
Reine Wiley, the Breakaway from Cancer Champion, and Stuart Arbuckle, Vice President of Amgen Oncology, visited the KCAL 9 studios Friday. Reine will be honored Sunday as part of the 2011 Amgen Tour of California.
Reine was diagnosed in 2010 with cancinoid cancer, a rare form of neuroendocrine cancer.
