American Airlines Flight From LAX Makes Emergency Landing In Texas
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles International Airport was forced to make an emergency landing in Abilene, Texas, late Tuesday night.
The pilot reported problems around 11:30 p.m. and told passengers he needed to get to the ground as soon as possible.
The plane was originally headed to Dallas, but landed safely just 200 miles away.
No one was injured.
Passengers say an engine failed.
