Kidnapped Girl, 17, Found Safe In Bell
Bell (CBS) — A 17-year-old girl kidnapped in South Gate was found unharmed in Bell Monday night, authorities said.
Suspect Rafael Ibarra, 29, was taken into custody, Steve Whitmore
of Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
The suspect allegedly forced Mayra Martinez into his vehicle at approximately 3:35 p.m. at Alameda Street and Firestone Boulevard before fleeing the scene.
Ibarra had allegedly threatened to kill Martinez in the past, authorities said. Their relationship is unclear.
