Amanda Bynes Accident Gets Another Look From LAPD Investigators

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles city attorney is scrutinizing a couple of incidents involving Amanda Bynes.

In April, the actress allegedly rear-ended a BMW on the 101 Freeway and left the scene. But, city prosecutors rejected the case because of lack of evidence, according to TMZ.

The actress was accused of another hit-and-run earlier this month, which has prompted police to look again at that first case in April.

If Bynes is charged in both misdemeanor hit-and-run incidents, she could face up to a year in jail.

In June, the actress pleaded not guilty to DUI charges.
