Alleged Hit-And-Run Driver Slams Into Utility Pole In San Pedro
SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) — Electricity Sunday was restored to a San Pedro neighborhood hours after an alleged hit-and-run driver struck a power pole.
The accident happened just after 2 a.m. at 11th Street and Pacific Avenue.
Police said the driver of a black SUV fled the scene after the crash.
The 3-hour power outage spanned 12-square-blocks and impacted about 1,400 customers. Power was fully restored just after 6 a.m.
