After Miss Universe Faux Pas, Steve Harvey Posts 'Merry Easter' Picture Mocking Himself
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — After announcing the wrong winner at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, Steve Harvey took to Twitter to try and regain some fans.
After openly apologizing and taking responsibility for his error on national television, Harvey posted a comedic picture of himself on Twitter on Christmas.
The image shows Harvey smoking a cigar while flashing a peace sign, all with the caption, "Merry Easter ya'll!".
The host of Family Feud will reportedly be brought back for the 2016 Miss Universe pageant, despite his colossal error in which he crowned the wrong winner.
Harvey issued this formal apology via Twitterimmediately following the pageant.
I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.
