How not to start off a new marriage; royal, or not-so-royal. At least in this not-so-royal case, one man now has some closure; until the next time there's a family get-together. In Billings, Mont., a guy tells the cops somebody stole his credit card, and rang up $6,000 in purchases.
Hey! Wait a second! $,1600 was charged at the motel where this guy's son just got married. (Not hotel; motel. -Ed.) And a lot of the other purchases looked like stuff somebody getting married would buy. Call in Billings CSI: they discover our "crook-of-the-month,-but-the-month's-not-over-yet" is the victim's brand new daughter-in-law.
The Billings Gazette newspaper reports she pleads guilty to a felony for stealing his card, and if she works out a deal to stay out of jail, she'll just have to pay back 'Pops," plus a $500 fine.
Still, next Thanksgiving dinner oughta be a laff-riot.
