Actor Ed Asner Hospitalized For Exhaustion
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Actor Ed Asner has been hospitalized in Chicago due to exhaustion, his rep said Wednesday.
Asner was performing his one-man show, "FDR", in Gary, Ind., on Tuesday night when he had to be taken off stage due to exhaustion, according to spokesman Charles Sherman.
According to the Post-Tribune, the show started 45 minutes late and Anser had difficulty delivering his lines.
The 83-year-old was transported to a Chicago-area hospital where he "is resting comfortably . . . and is expected to be released later today," Sherman said.
Asner is best known for his roles on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Lou Grant".
