Achoo! Time Is Right To Get Your Flu Shot
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Yes, it's that time of year again. Time to roll up your sleeves and get the flu shot.
The flu shot is recommended for everyone, but most especially for children over 6 months, educators, health care workers, people with chronic illnesses, the elderly and pregnant women.
Debbie Pulaski, a nurse practictioner with CVS Pharmacy, was an in-studio guest on the KCAL 9 News at 12 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the importance of getting the flu shot.
The uninsured can also get vouchers for free shots. For all others, the cost is $29.95.
