9 Hurt In 2-Car Crash In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Nine people were injured in a two-car collision in South Los Angeles Wednesday night.
Police say the crash occurred on Manchester Avenue near the corner of Central Avenue just before 8 p.m.
L.A. City Fire and the LAPD are on the scene.
Four of the injured parties were treated on the scene and released. Five others have been transported to a local hospital, KCAL9's Stu Mendel reports.
One of those victims is believed to be in grave condition.
Authorities have closed Manchester at Central in both directions. Central is open to both north and southbound traffic.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
