87th Annual Americafest Fireworks Show To Light Up Night Sky Over Rose Bowl
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — To watch Southern California's biggest and best fireworks show this Fourth of July, head down to the 87th annual Americafest celebration at the Rose Bowl.
The all-day celebration will feature food, live entertainment, crafts and inflatable rides for the kids outside the stadium starting at 2 p.m., but the main event takes place at 9 p.m., when a 30-minute choreographed fireworks show will light up the sky over the Rose Bowl.
Live entertainment includes TNT motorcycle stunts and a special performance by Mariachi Divas & Kenny G. The event will be emceed by CBS2/KCAL9 anchors Pat Harvey and Rick Garcia.
General admission tickets start at $13 per person. Children 7 and under are admitted free. Advance tickets are available now through Ticketmaster until July 3. Reserved Seating tickets are available at $25 per person and children 2 and under are admitted free into this section.
The stadium's parking lot opens at 9 a.m., and families are invited to picnic or tailgate on the grassy area outside the Rose Bowl. Parking on the Brookside Golf Course begins at 3:30 p.m. Parking is $20 per vehicle and $60 for buses and RVs. There is no shuttle service for this event.
