1 Killed, 2 Others Wounded In Wilmington Shootings
WILMINGTON (CBSLA.com) — A 18-year-old man was killed and two teenagers were wounded Tuesday in shootings in Wilmington, authorities said.
The gunfire was reported about 3:15 p.m. in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Broad Avenue near Banning High School, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
All three teens where taken to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead, the LAPD said.
No arrests were immediately reported, and the surviving victims' conditions were not disclosed. A male suspect who was in a gray vehicle was being sought, police said.
While the shootings occurred near the high school, but it was unclear if the victims were students at the school.
