6 Cases Of Hepatitis A In Calif. Linked To Frozen Berries Sold At Costco
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officials with the California Department of Public Health say at least six cases of Hepatitis A in California re linked to frozen berries sold at Costco.
People in Riverside, Orange and San Diego Counties have been affected. All six of the people in California had to be hospitalized.
The outbreak has been reported in several states. At least 30 cases are being reported nationwide.
Thus far, no fatalities have been linked to the frozen berries.
