57 Freeway Offramp Reopened In San Dimas After Diesel Spill
SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — An Orange (57) Freeway offramp in San Dimas was reopened Monday morning after a 100-gallon diesel spill from a big rig's fuel tank was cleaned up.
The spill was reported on the southbound Orange Freeway at the Covina Boulevard exit about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The offramp was reopened at 5:50 a.m. Monday.
A small amount of the fuel that spilled went down the drain on the offramp, CHP officials said. The ramp was shut down so a hazardous materials crew could clean up the spill.
It's not known what caused the rupture.
