5-Year-Old Leukemia Patient Asks His Favorite Nurse If She'll Marry Him
SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com) — A 5-year-old boy battling Leukemia recently popped the question in a marriage proposal that was caught on video.
Gideon Robinson got down on one knee and asked his favorite nurse whom he calls "tall Sarah" if she'll marry him.
Her reply?
"Of course, you can be my hospital husband!"
Gideon is receiving treatment at Rady's Children's Hospital since being diagnosed in August.
He initially couldn't get the ring out of the box, but did eventually.
After she said yes, they celebrated by throwing a dance party.
Gideon's parents say his prognosis is positive.
