From 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 to 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9 all southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway will be shut down from U.S. 101 to the Getty Center ramps, Metro officials said.
"What they're gonna be doing is removing the false work off the center of the new Mulholland Bridge, and they can't do that kind of work over live traffic," said Metro's Dave Sotero.
The Mullholand Bridge will also be closed from Friday at 10 p.m. to Sunday 8 a.m.
Sotero said next weekend there will be another 10-hour closure of the 405 on the northbound side.
