4 Stabbed Outside Downtown Nightclub, 2 Suspects In Custody
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Four people were stabbed, including innocent bystanders, after a fight spilled onto the streets outside of a downtown nightclub early Friday morning.
The stabbing occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Hill Street.
According to Los Angeles police, two male suspects and at least one victim were involved in a fight inside the Belasco Theater which later continued outside the club after it closed.
Police say one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed four people. All four victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. A fifth person was also involved in the fight, but was not injured, authorities said.
Pedro Garcia, 19, was arrested on attempted murder charges. Felipe Serrano, 26, was arrested for investigation of felony battery.
Investigators believe that alcohol was an influencer in the incident.
The stabbing was not gang related, the LAPD said.
