4 People Found Fatally Shot In Front Of Northridge Home
NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — Four people were found shot to death in front of a Northridge home early Sunday morning.
LAPD responded to a call around 4:25 a.m. in the 17000 block of Devonshire Street.
"Right before 4:30 this morning we got a radio call arguing in the background in one of the houses here, followed by several gunshots, approximately eight gunshots is what we heard," Sgt. Paul McLaughlin said.
Two men and two women were found face-down outside the home, Capt. William Hayes said.
The two-story building is a private residence considered an unlicensed boarding house, where unrelated people are renting individual rooms, according to Hayes.
"Detectives from Devonshire area are canvasing the scene. They are interviewing some people that were inside of the house at the time. They're checking the neighborhoods around here to see if anybody heard or saw anything," Cmdr. Andrew Smith said.
"And our Robbery-Homicide detectives are also arriving – they're going to be taking over the case due to the large number of victims."

Sunday evening, Bobby Kaple -- reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9 -- said all the victims were Asian and between the ages of 20-50. The names of the victims have not been released.
