COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Four men were wounded Saturday evening in a shooting on a Compton street, according to officials.
The shooting occurred about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Butler Avenue and Linsley Street, said a sergeant with the Compton station.
A witness told City News Service that three of the victims were black and one was Latino.
It was unknown if the shooting was gang-related or if all the victims knew each other.
The men were all taken to hospitals for treatment.
Authorities said none of the wounds appear to be life threatening.
