4 Long Beach Police Officers Injured In Car Crash
LONG BEACH (CBS) — Four plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were injured in a collision in Long Beach Monday.
Officials reported their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The collision occurred at 4:45 p.m. at Long Beach and Ocean boulevards, said Lisa Massacani of the Long Beach Police Department.
The collision was probably not related to their assignment, Massacani said.
The driver of the black pickup truck that was involved in the collision was not injured.
Detectives were investigating the cause of the crash, Massacani said.
Other than the damage to the vehicles, no other property damage was reported.
