4 Firefighters, Driver Hospitalized After Collision
LAKEWOOD (CBS) — Four firefighters were hospitalized after a collision on the 605 Freeway in Lakewood.

The firefighters were looking for a vehicle that reportedly rolled over on the southbound 605 Freeway near the Carson off-ramp when they were struck by a sweeper truck, CHP Officer Raoul Nunez said.
The firefighters suffered neck and back injuries, and sustained several cuts. The driver of the sweeper truck, a man in his 50s, is in critical condition.
