4 Arrested At In-N-Out Drive-Thru For Alleged Residential Burglary In LA
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Police announced the arrest of four Pomona men Tuesday who allegedly robbed garages and vehicles of several residents.
According to the Pomona Police Department, dispatch received a call from a resident on Sunday stating his garage and vehicle were just burglarized.
Officers added the victim watched the suspects flee from his garage, and followed them to an In N Out, located in the 2500 block of South Garey Avenue.
Once on scene, police located the suspects inside a vehicle in the drive-thru. Ramiro Gutierrez, 19, Miguel Chavez, 19, and two 17-year-old juveniles were subsequently detained.
A preliminary investigation revealed a large amount of stolen property located inside the suspect vehicle.
According to police, officers identified two additional vehicle burglary victims, one of which whom reported a theft earlier in the evening.
All of the suspects were booked on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, officers said.
Police were able to return the recovered stolen property to three victims involved in the incident.
