34-Year-Old Woman Killed In Pomona Shooting
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 34-year-old woman was fatally shot during a car-to-car shooting in Pomona on Saturday.
Authorities have arrested a 23-year-old motorist who they believe was the shooter.
Medical personnel rushed the woman, Deborah Guiterrez, from the scene to the hospital, where she later died from her gunshot wounds.
The shooting took place in the area of Holt Ave and San Antonio Ave in Pomona.
Patrol officers heard several gunshots around 3:30 a.m.
Guiterrez was a passenger in a car driver by Chino Hills resident Demar Jacobs, who sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Authorities said Pomona resident Robert Bogan, who was driving a 2000 Cadillac DTS, was taken into custody and is believed to be the only suspect involved.
Bogan was booked into the Pomona jail for suspicion of the homicide and is being held on $1 million bail.
