32-Year-Old Man Allegedly Stabs Roommate In Burbank Apartment Complex
BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A 32-year-old man allegedly stabbed his roommate in a Burbank apartment complex Tuesday morning.
Alvaro Rene Laborin was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
The suspect, who is jailed in lieu of $1 million bail, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Burbank Superior Court.
Laborin was discovered with a knife in his hand in front of the apartment building in the 600 block of San Jose Avenue around 8:45 a.m., according to Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
Kenneth Villeneuve was found in a stairwell with multiple stab wounds.
The 46-year-old was taken to a hospital where he remains in stable condition.
