3 Injured -- 2 Critically -- After Car Plows Into Home In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three people were injured -- two critically -- when a car plowed into a home in South Los Angeles.
The crash unfolded Saturday afternoon in the 1200 block of E. Adams Boulevard near Central Avenue.
An officer on-scene said an SUV ran up on the corner, causing a Jeep to swerve out of the way and plow into the front staircase of the home.
A woman on-scene said her parents were in the SUV. They were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Jeep was also taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Meanwhile, the woman who lives in the home said she had left for five minutes to pick up groceries and returned to find the vehicle inside her home.
