3 Injured After Vehicle Slams Into Restaurant Near USC
NORTH UNIVERSITY PARK (CBSLA.com) — Three people were hurt Saturday after a vehicle slammed into a store at a strip mall near USC.
The car crashed into Hong Kong Express Chinese restaurant at the intersection of Hoover and Venice just after 8:25 p.m.
The driver reportedly pulled into the parking lot and accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash, said officials.
Officials said none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
The injured were all taken to an area hospital.
