3 Hospitalized After Vehicle, Semi Crash On 210 Freeway In Pasadena
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Three people have been transported to the hospital after a crash between a car and a semi on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena.
Pasadena Fire crews were called to the scene on the westbound 210 east of Rosemead Boulevard at 2:31 p.m. Monday after the truck crashed into a car and went over a divider before coming to a stop on Metro tracks.
A fire department spokesperson tells CBS2/KCAL9 the driver of the car got out and was alert at the time of transport.
The passenger of that vehicle and the truck driver were also transported to the hospital. All three of the victims are believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the spokesperson.
Details of the victims' conditions were not immediately clear.
Three lanes on the 210 were closed as crews were on the scene. All lanes were reopened before 7:30 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol.
A Metro spokesperson said the tracks are not active, and there were no disruptions to service.
