3 Critical In 4-Vehicle Crash On The 405 Freeway In Van Nuys
VAN NUYS (CBS) — Three people were critically injured Saturday in a four-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Van Nuys, a city fire official said.
The crash was reported at 8:47 p.m. on the northbound 405 at Burbank Boulevard, Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Three automobiles and a motorcycle collided, leaving four people injured, Spence said.
Three people were taken to hospitals in critical condition, and another person was hospitalized in fair condition, Spence said.
All northbound lanes were closed on a stretch of the 405 until further notice, he said.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
