2 Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested, 1 Still At Large In Sherman Oaks
SHERMAN OAKS (CBS) — Two people were taken into custody, but the search continues for a third suspect in two armed robberies after a perimeter search in Sherman Oaks Monday.
Three men dressed in black, holding guns and a shotgun, were reported at a robbery at near Saticoy Street and Haskell Avenue at 1:45 p.m., followed a short time later by another at Keswick Street and Burnet Avenue, Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner said.
The men fled the area and were seen entering a building under construction off of Valley Vista Boulevard, just two miles away.
Two suspects were quickly taken into custody, but two remained at large as of 4 p.m., Rayner said. The Sepulveda offramp from the southbound 405 Freeway was blocked off as police searched the area.
