3.5 Magnitude Quake Strikes Beverly Hills
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude-3.5 earthquake struck the Beverly Hills-area early Friday morning.
The quake hit west southwest of Beverly Hills at 12:03 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was felt from Santa Monica to Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley.
KNX 1070's Jon Baird reports despite being a relatively shallow quake, there were no reports of damages or injuries.

KNX 1070's Bob Brill, who felt the shaking in the Fairfax District, compared it with the temblor in Beverly Hills five days ago.
"This was a much stronger shake...I mean, this was a very strong shake," said Brill. "It was a real powerful jolt, and then about a half-second later, another smaller jolt."
One Westside man said he was driving when the quake hit.
"I'm on Santa Monica (Boulevard) inside a truck and it felt like somebody had grabbed hold of the bumper and started jumping up and down," he said.
Friday's earthquake was the second tremor to hit Beverly Hills less than a week after a magnitude-3.2 rattler jolted the area just before 3:30 a.m. Monday.
