2nd Fatal Shooting Reported On Western Ave In Less Than A Week
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A second fatal shooting in more than a week has been reported along Western Avenue in the unincorporated area of Westmont.
One man was shot dead and another wounded in a shooting early Sunday. The wounded man is expected to make a full recovery.
Another man was fatally shot on the 10800 block of South Western Avenue on Wednesday about 8:35 p.m. and pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was later identified as 32-year-old Jason Kennedy of Los Angeles.
This morning's attack -- in the 11100 block of South Western Avenue -- was reported to authorities at 4:58 a.m., according to a department statement.
