2nd Airport Worker Pleads Not Guilty In LAX Dry Ice Bombs Case
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A second airport employee pleaded not guilty Tuesday in connection with a dry ice bomb that exploded at Los Angeles International Airport last week.
Miguel Angel Iniguez, 41, who worked as a supervisor for Servisair, was charged Monday with one felony count of possession of a destructive device near an airplane.
Gustavo Barcena, Iniguez's attorney, told KNX 1070's Margaret Carrero that his client has no prior record.
"He's a good person. And he believes in the justice system and we're hoping that it will be resolved and he'll be back to his life," he said.

Co-defendant 28-year-old Dicarlo Bennett, who worked under Iniguez, was charged last Thursday with two felony counts of possession of a destructive device in a public place.
On Oct. 13, Bennett placed two dry ice bombs near the airport's terminals. One exploded in an employee bathroom, but the other didn't detonate, according to prosecutors.
Police said Bennett claimed he came up with the idea as a prank.
Iniguez is accused of making a third dry ice bomb that went off outside the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
No one was injured in any of the incidents.
Iniguez's bail was set at $500,000. Bennett's bond was set at $1 million.
Iniguez and Bennett are due back in court Wednesday for a bail review hearing.
