$25K Reward Offered In Studio City Bus Driver Assault
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The Metropolitan Transit Agency is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to a suspect who assaulted a bus driver in the San Fernando Valley.
The assault, which occurred Friday night in Studio City, was caught on camera.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the suspect boarded the bus at Ventura and Laurel Canyon boulevards and began arguing with the driver about the fare.
The suspect then punched the driver in the head, knocking him unconscious, and ran away, officials said.
He was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s. He's between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with thin, shoulder-length hair.
