24-Year-Old Marine From Harbor City Killed In Afghanistan
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A local Marine has been killed in combat in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced Saturday.
Cpl. Roberto Cazarez was from Harbor City.
The Pentagon says he died Friday in the Helmand Province.
Cazarez was based at Camp Pendleton with the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.
He was 24 years old.
