22 Busted During Van Nuys Prostitution Sting
VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A prostitution sting in Van Nuys Thursday evening netted 22 arrests.
Officials said the arrests -- nine men and 13 women -- included prostitutes and johns.
The sting was conducted along a four-mile stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard from Raymer Street to Ventura Boulevard, according to authorities.
During the four-hour sting operation 19 people were arrested for solicitation of prostitution, one for loitering for the purposes of prostitution, one for lewd conduct and one for the possession of methamphetamine.
